This term, our topic is about the 3 main languages of New Zealand which are Maori , English and Sign Language. So yesterday, Room 12 learnt the alphabet but in sign language. After we finished learning the alphabet we had to take pictures of each letter that spells our name and create a Google Drawing .. Take a look at mine

Synonyms&Antonyms..

Yesterday, for Room12's writing session we learnt what a Antonym and Synonym is. An Antonym is a word that is opposite to the other and Synonyms are 2 different words but mean the same thing.. Then when we understood what a Synonym and Antonym is, we had to make an anchor poster based on what we learnt. It was a enjoyable writing block and it was cool to see everyone engaging to the learning. 

Quick Write..

Nearly every morning, Room12 does a Quick write. We have different subjects, sentence starters or would you rather questions to answer.. This morning we did, "this year has been".. Have a look at mine.. :)

Year 8 Experience Day..

Tsunami Work..

A couple of weeks ago, we had activities based on what changes landscape. So we had to make Google Drawings and write explanations on different type of things that has ruined today's landscape. 

So in this explanation, I'll be showing you what a tsunami is and how it's changed the land around us.
